S M Shawon Mahmud FCMA and Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahaman ACMA were elected as the Chairman and Secretary of the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for the year 2025.
Mr. Zillur Rahman FCMA and Mr. Md. Zasim Uddin FCMA were also elected as the Vice-Chairman and Treasurer in the 1st meeting of the 40th Dhaka Branch Council held on February 18, 2025.
S M Shawon Mahmud FCMA is working as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), at Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited. He was the Treasurer of DBC in 2012, Secretary in 2014 and Vice-Chairman in 2016.

Md. Mashiur Rahaman ACMA is working as Additional Commissioner (Customs & VAT), First Secretary (VAT Policy), NBR, Dhaka.
Mr. Md. Zasim Uddin FCMA is working as Executive Director (Finance & HR) and Company Secretary, Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC), an entity of ERD, Ministry of Finance.
