Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated two days long “Annual Managers’ Conference-2014” on Friday at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the capital. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by its managing director Farman R Chowdhury while the chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank AK Azad was present as chief guest.
The meeting evaluated the performance of the last year and adopted necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the target for the remaining time of the year, says a press release.
Among others the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Syed Nurul Arefeen, Directors Mohammed Farooq, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mohammad Younus, Abdul Halim, Independent Director Mosharraf Hossain, Managing Director Farman R Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Shafiul Azam and Md. Setaur Rahman were present in the meeting.
Executives and Head of different Divisional Head of the Head Office and Branch Managers of 92 branches were also present on the occasion.
