Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. organized khatme Quran and Doa-Mahfil in the Bank’s head office as well as other 93 branches on the occasion of its’ 15th Anniversary on 10th May 2016. In the program Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mohammad Younus, Director Mr. Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman and Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury delivered speech. Among others Director Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Alternate Director Mr. Nazmul Islam Nuru, Deputy Managing Director Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, Executives and officers of the head office were also present in the program. Mr. Mawlana Md. Farid Uddin, Murakib of the Bank moderated the program.
Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mohammad Younus said, the Bank has already 
achieved numerous achievements in many ways for the praiseworthy effort of the Bank’s employees and overall support from the valued clients and well-wishers. In this regard Mr. Mohammad Younus conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to all clients and employees of the Bank.
The Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury said, Shahjalal Islami Bank started its’ Banking operation from 10th May 2001. The Bank serving Clients with Modern Technology based banking services through the country wide with its’ 93 branches, 1 Off-Shore Banking Unit as well as remarkable ATM Booths. As on 30th April 2016 the total Deposit of the bank stands on Tk. 11229 Crore and total Investment Tk. 10429 Crore. At present the business volume of the Bank extending gradually for its’ efficient employees, wise Board of Directors and adopting contemporary policies.
