SJIBL opens branch at Nagarpur in Tangail

Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd (SJIBL) opened its 86th branch at Nagarpur in Tangail on Thursday. Khandaker Abdul Baten, member of parliament in Tangail-6, formally inaugurated the branch as chief guest while the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJIBL Syed Nurul Arefeen was persent as special guest.

Md. Abdul Jabber Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of SJIBL presided over the inaugural ceremony.

NagorpurKhandaker Abdul Baten said, if we want to ensure congenial environment and peaceful life all should have to work for the country by enlighten patriotism. In his speech he also mentioned the war prone country like Vietnam, which achieved development in a short time. Nevertheless after 42 years of our liberation war we could not achieved our auspicious development. National conscienceous is mandatory for the development of a country. Khandaker Baten hope that all kinds of people will be benefited by the cordial services and investment of SJIBL.

Syed Nurul Arefeen said that Shahjalal Islami Bank is a commercial bank based on Shariah. The bank is playing a vital role for eliminating unemployment situation by creating new entrepreneurs. It has taken necessary initiative to provide banking facilities to the all classes of people of the country by opening new branches in different areas. Nurul Arefeen also added that SJIBL intends to invest in SME sector in Nagarpur area.

Deputy Managing Director Md. Abdul Jabber Chowdhury discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment schemes. He said Shahjalal Islami Bank has a group of skilled and dexterous employees besides modern technology based services. The number of SJIBL clients is increasing rapidly for its employee’s dexteriority and cordial services. At present this bank earned a stable position in banking sector.
