Micromax sponsors T-20 Asia Cup 2016
Micromax Informatics Limited, the 10th largest handset player in the world, today announced that the company has bagged the title sponsorship rights for the much anticipated T- 20 Asia Cup 2016, which will be held in Bangladesh from February 24 to March 6. The company has entered into an agreement with Twenty First Century Media Pvt. Ltd. and the event will be now titled as Micromax T-20 Asia Cup 2016.

Chittagong Stock Exchange, the 2nd dynamic bourse of the country has arranged a training program on “Comprehensive Equity Research” today at its premises in Chittagong for the Authorized Representatives, investors and different professions in Chittagong. A total of 50 participants from 30 broker offices attended the training. Rampal power plant despite major backlash
Regular power outages are prompting Bangaladesh to build two new coal-fired power plants. The Rampal plant is the furthest along and is scheduled to become operational by 2021.
The plants are planned to be built near the Sundarbans, the world’s largest single tract of mangrove forest, home to tigers, freshwater dolphins, and hundreds of other wildlife species.

Russia makes 7 mi-171sh helicopters for BD
In 2015, Moscow delivered five Mi-171Sh helicopters to Bangladesh. Following the delivery, Moscow signed a contract for the supply of another batch to Dhaka.
