1st ever nat’l compliance carnival in city
Institute of Compliance Professionals (ICP) organized “1st National Compliance Carnival 2018” today, 20th of April 2018, at Hall-4, International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Around 1,300 registered participants, especially compliance professionals from RMG sector along with different manufacturing and commercial organization, representative from BGMEA, BKMEA, business owners, Buying houses, Governmental organizations, NGOs, Banks and other trade bodies joined in the mega event.

Tripartite meet on non-performing loans by BB, BIAC and ABB
A Tripartite meeting between Bangladesh Bank (BB), Association of Bankers Bangladesh (ABB) and Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) was held on 12 April 2018 at the Bangladesh Bank Head Office to find out ways to strengthen the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system to settle large number of pending cases in the banking sector. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Abu Hena Mohd. Razee Hassan, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. From Association of Bankers Bangladesh, Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman, Mr. Sohail R.K. UK Education Expo 2018
AHZ Associates, a leading representative of higher education institutions based in the United Kingdom is hosting the biggest UK Education Expo in Dhaka and Sylhet. This is the second year and third expo is going to take place in Bangladesh organized by AHZ Associates. With over top 20 UK Universities, the expo will take place on 21 April in Dhaka and 23 April in Sylhet in association with Pearson Edexcel.
The expo will be a great platform for students, teachers and other professionals with an opportunity to meet representative and delegates from more than 20 renowned British higher education institutions. Round table on trade facilitation project in Bangladesh
Chairman National board of Revenue Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said that NBR has undertaken a number of projects for implementation of the TFA. While addressing at a Round Table on Trade Facilitation held in Dhaka on 18 April. Government has decided to establish a National Single Window (NSW) for facilitation of trade and NBR will act as the lead agency, he added. He also assured that NBR will be extending all cooperation to the businesses for expanding the export basket of the country in order to achieve $50 billion export target by 2021.
