Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Huq, Former Professor of Soil Science at Dhaka University passed away in his sleep on Thursday morning at a local hospital. At the time of death his age was 93 years. Dr. Huq was born in Baufal Thana of Barisal district in 1921. His parents hailed from Chauddagram thana of Comilla district. He was a student of Chemistry at Dhaka University and completed his MSc.
