Intexpo begins in city
A two-day Indian textile exhibition titled ‘Intexpo Bangladesh 2016’ began in Dhaka today to tap the growing business potential especially that of man-made fibers (MMF) textiles.
The Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) of India in association with the Indian High Commission in Dhaka is organizing the expo.
The expo is also backed by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) are supporting the expo.

Mujibul Haque, MP, State Minister for Labour and Employment said, under the companies Act 1991, CA firm should audit carefully the companies accounts so that 5 per cent of companies’ annual profit would be ensured for the benefit of the workers. The government is thinking about inclusion of CA firms to audit workers welfare fund along with OCAG under the new labor law.
