Islami Bank

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited donated Tk. 10 million to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to help and rehabilitate the flood and river erosion affected people of the country.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the cheque from Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank on September 18, 2014 Thursday at Gonobhaban. Md. Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Chairman, Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) was present on the occasion.

Bank Asia contributed an amount of Tk.5.00mln in aid of flood affected families. Mr. A. M. Nurul Islam, Vice Chairman of the Bank, handed over the cheque to the hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a simple ceremony at the Ganobhaban on Thursday (18 September, 2014). Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board Mr. Rumee A Hossain was present.

Shahjalal Islami Bank donated Tk. 1 Crore to Prime Minister Relief Fund

The Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. A. K. Azad handed over a Cheque worth Tk. 1 Crore to the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on 18^th September 2014 to help and assist the flood affected people. The Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mazumdar was present on the occasion.
