The Press-Briefing of the WALTON Under-2000 International Rating Chess Tournament, sponsored by WALTON Hi-Tech Industries PLC, organized by Manha’s Castle under the guidance of the Bangladesh Chess Federation was held today (Wednesday) afternoon at Hall-Room of Manha’s Castle in R H Home Center, Green Road, Dhaka.

dustries PLC, Masudur Rahman Mallick Dipu, Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation, Lokman Hossain Mollah Lavlu, President of Manha’s Castle, International Arbiter Md Haroon Or Rashid, Parag Arman, Sports Editor of ATN Bangla, Mehrab Hossain Asif, Deputy Director of WALTON Hi-Tech Industries PLC and CM Sohel Chowdhury, General Secretary of Manha’s Castle were present in the press-briefing and briefed details of the event. The game of the event will start at 10:00 AM on 15th April, Friday.
The inauguration ceremony of the event will be held on 15th April, Friday from 11:00 AM at Manha’s Castle Hall-Room. F M Iqbal Bin Anwar (Dawn), Senior Executive Director of WALTON Hi-Tech Industries PLC will inaugurate the event as chief guest. The event will be held in a 7 round Swiss-League system for three days. Total fifty-thousand-taka cash prize money and fifty thousand takas WALTON gifts will be given to the winners.
