A group of Delegates of Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe headed by Deputy Governor of the bank Dr. Charity Lindile Dhliwayo, has visited Financial Inclusion related projects of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) at Munshigonj. The delegates were accompanied by General Manager of Bangladesh Bank Nurun Nahar and Deputy Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Kazi Towhidul Alam.
The visiting team included Norman Mataruka, Director, Bank Supervision, Norah Mukura, Deputy Director, Bank Supervision and Audrey Hove, Principal Bank Examiner, Bank Supervision of Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. The team visited Noor Garments, manufacturer of plastic ropes Nowshin Enterprise and Women Entrepreneur’s Samity (Microfinance) organized by the Bank. Golam Mohiuddin, Joint Director, Indranee Haque, Deputy Director, Shahanaj Pervin, Deputy Director, S. M. Zubayer Hussain, Assistant Director, Tanbir Ehsan, Assistant Director and Salah Uddin, Assistant Director were present on behalf of Bangladesh Bank. Executive Vice President Abed Ahamed Khan, Head of AIBL Dhaka South Zone Md. Majibur Rahman, Assistant Vice President Jalal Ahmed and Manager of AIBL Rampal branch Mohammad Yusuf Sharif were present on the occasion.
