An emergency meeting of the 14-party alliance led by the Awami League is scheduled to be held at Ganabhaban, the official residence of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at 5pm on Monday.
Tarikat Federation Chairman and incumbent MP Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari confirmed the information in the afternoon.
When asked about the agenda of the meeting, he said: “Naturally, the situation of the country will be discussed. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina might say something important, which is why an emergency meeting has been called.”
