3rd Campus IT Fest kicks off at DU

Two day long ‘Third Campus IT Fest’ is going to commence on at University of Dhaka from September 14, 2014 (Sunday) to raise awareness on information technology among the youth. Organizers expect around 1500 students, teachers & tech-savvy from above 6o universities and colleges across the country will attend the festival.

Dhaka University IT Society (DUITS) and Information Technology Department jointly arranged a press conference at TSC Cafeteria on 13th September, 2014 (Saturday) to announce the festival. After the press meets Zunayed Ahmed Palak, State Minister, Information Technology Department officially inaugurates free wi-fi connection at historical Modhur Canteen.

ROBI-logoThe theme of IT Festival of the year is ‘IT based campus to build up digital Bangladesh and ensure quality education’. The Largest IT festival among the universities of the country will inaugurate at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Auditorium on 14th September at 11am. Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited will sponsor the festival.

Project exhibition, apps development, gaming & quiz contest, seminar on internet security, outsourcing & entrepreneur conference, IT based debate & business ideas competition will be included in the festival. Two seminars, two workshops & one discussion programme will be held at this event.
