To get rid of the burden of unemployment problem, following different universities around the world for higher education, to make eligible and capable human resource, ADUST is moving ahead to the potential new world by its extra-ordinary facilities in education sector. Since its establishment, it has been playing its distinct and unique role for extending modern education. To the consequence of it, admission procedures of MPH, English and other 15 Departments of Summer session have been going on from the full month of March to April 2014.
ADUST has been stepping forward with different dimensions for making study and exam system more modern, building creative knowledge and culture, practicing sports, games and taking part in other competitive activities.
The authority of University, from the beginning, has been playing a prominent role for making the students habituated in co-education and leading the meritorious and poor students to higher education. The ADUST founder Vice-Chancellor & Chairman of present trustee board Professor D. Anoara Begume said- always resorts to a vigilant eye so that they can establish themselves in the field of science and technology.
Cleanliness of classrooms, charming campus, computer lab, enriched library, cultural club including indoor-outdoor games , study tour, debating, taking part in national curriculum are obligatory. Female students have their respective common rooms. Authority has made multifarious units giving keen attention to modern and clean campus. In the mean time, the university has been able to arrest the attention of conscious guardians by introducing merit-based and creative programs. Although students passing from many Departments are occupying different positions in the job sectors, comparatively students passed from English and BBA are in a higher position. They have been capable to strengthen their positions in many demanding job sectors like BCS along with other governmental and non-governmental jobs like Bank, BIMA, real estate, multinational companies etc.
Reasons for being successful: Efficient management of practical class and case study, assignment on current world, class participation, preparation for the mid-term and final exams, giving emphasis on computer and internet use, close monitoring of course teachers, education in trimester system, encouraging students to use library, inspiring eligible candidates for participating in workshop, seminar, symposium, study tour and industrial visit, internship, making them effective in viva exam, also making them encouraged in debate, sports and cultural activities, etc.English, Public Health, MBA, Pharmacy, Textile, Computer Science, Electric and Electronic Engineering subjects are taught here. There is a system of monitoring teachers’ method of teaching. “We firmly believe in quality, not in quantity” is what the University Authority said.
Different facilities for the students: Not only to fulfill commercial business purpose, but also to give opportunity to the poor brilliant students is the prime goal of this University. In this current Summer session, fresher students will be offered a lot of facilities. Especially, the meritorious children of freedom fighters, least privileged rural students from backward section are having golden opportunity to study in a small payment.
The students of MPH and English are having a special offer to get enrolled in these Departments. Besides, the children of freedom fighters have the opportunity to get admission free of cost. The student scholarship is provided on the basis of their merit and score.
