Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) opens its 132nd branch at Chuadanga on 20 June 2016. Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul Malek Molla inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony while prominent businessman Md. Shahidul Haque Molla, Managing Director of Zaman Group of Industries Syed Asaduzzaman and Mayor of Chuadanga Purasabha Obaidur Rahman Chowdhury Zipu were present as special guests.
Head of AIBL Khulna Zone Md. Manjurul Alam delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by Chairman of Chuadanga Chamber of Commerce & Industries Habibur 
Rahman and President of Shop Owners’ Association Haji Mohammad Asaduzzaman. Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the program. Manager of the branch Md. Abdus Shukur thanked the audience.
Chief Guest Alhajj Abdul Malek Molla, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but only for the welfare of the society. Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service. He also said, only Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
