MAN Diesel & Turbo to supply power plant engines to Bangladesh

For the Bangladeshi Maisha Group, MAN Diesel & Turbo is to supply twelve 18V32/40 engines to the Bangladesh capital Dhaka. The engines will be employed in a power plant delivering 108 MW of electricity, which will provide additional peak load power for the metropolis of millions. Airtel ‘Recharge Retailer Kit’ to help Savar victims

Airtel Bangladesh Ltd, the fastest growing telecom operator of the country, has initiated to stand beside the affected people of the disastrous collapse of the eight story commercial building in Savar last year. The Top Team of Airtel Bangladesh handed over ‘Recharge Retailer Kit’ to the Savar tragedy affected people at an event organized in Gulshan area of the capital. Airtel Bangladesh will be providing 61 Savar tragedy affected people with handsets, connections, recharge load and Airtel branded shop kiosks. Under the plan, the tragedy affected people will be able to provide service as Airtel retailers. The Savar tragedy affected people will also be given appropriate training on how to function as retailer.

IBBL former director Nur Mohammad dies

Nur Mohammad Akon, former alternate director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) passed away on Wednesday at a CityHospital due to brain sroke (Innalillahi----Raziun).
