IBBL Shari`ah Supervisory Committee meet held
A meeting of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held on March 24, 2016 Thursday at Islami Bank Tower. Mufti Sayed Ahmad, Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Mufti & Muhaddis of Al Jamiatus Siddikiah Darul Ulum (Madrasah-e-Furfura Sharif) presided over the meeting.

Janata Bank, WU distribute spl Ramadan gifts
During last Ramadan, Western Union, along with JanataBank Limited made the wishes of seven individuals come true under a promotion simply and appropriately titled “Wish come true”. After a selection process that covered the entirety of Bangladesh, individuals were chosen as winners based on their answers to the question of what is their biggest wish. The five winners were selected based on the uniqueness, sincerity and warmth of their answers. Each winner received a considerable financial sum that will enable them to fulfill their special wish. Orientation of newly recruited PBL junior officers held
A five day long “Orientation Program” has been arranged for newly recruited 209 Junior Officers (Cash) in the Pubali Bank organized by Pubali Bank Human Resourses Division at Bank’s auditorium. The course is designed aiming at familiarizing the participants with the concepts, principles, rules, regulations, laws and practices of Bank.

Athree day long BUFT English Teachers’ Forum- Spring 2016 organized by the Department of English, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) was held from 21 March to 23 March 2016 at BUFT Auditorium.
The closing ceremony of the four day long forum was addressed by Prof. Dr Syed Masud Hossain and Prof. Dr. Ayub Nabi Khan, respectively the Vice Chancellor and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). The Combined Cultural Alliance of Jahangirnagar University (JU) demanded immediate punishment of the killers of Comilla Victoria College student and cultural activist Shahagi Jahan Tanu on Wednesday here on campus. Brussels hit by ‘blind, violent, cowardly’ attacks
Belgian Prime Minister said Brussels was hit early Tuesday by two "blind, violent and cowardly" attacks on its airport and metro system which left many dead and wounded.
"Two attacks took place this morning in Zaventam airport and Maalbeek
metro station, blind, violent, cowardly attacks," Michel announced on national television.
"There are many dead and many wounded, some of them seriously," he said, with the death toll so far put at 31.
