Bangladesh is closely monitoring the evolving situation in conflict-torn Libya, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
According to latest reports, it said, all Bangladesh nationals in Libya are safe and they have been advised to stay alert and avoid conflict zones.
Many Bangladesh nationals have been moved to safer areas, said the press release.
Bangladesh hopes that the government of Libya, with the support of the international community, would be able to contain the situation through dialogue with all parties and groups, said the press release.
It said all Bangladesh nationals are advised not to travel to Libya till the situation becomes stable.
