Mr. A. Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of Bank Asia has been awarded prestigious lifetime achievement award ‘Business and Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2016’ by the UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce & Industry to (UKBCCI) at a magnificent function held in London Hilton Park Lane on 20 November, 2016.
The Rtn Honorable David Gauck, MP & Chief Secretary to the Treasury of the UK, the Chief Guest of the program handed over the award to Mr. A Rouf Chowdhury and greeted him warmly.

Nazmul Quaunine, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh in UK, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed OBE, Chairman of UKBCCI, Mr. Bajloor Rashid MBE, President of UKBCCI, Mr. M A Rouf, Senior Vice President of UKBCCI, Mrs Zakia Rouf Chowdhury, spouse of Bank Asia Chairman and Mr. Romo Rouf Chowdhury, his son were present on the occasion.

His business interests ranges from automobiles, pharmaceuticals, telecommunication, electronic, food processing to service industry including bank and insurance.
