Microcredit regulator seeks DFID support for one more year

The microcredit regulator has sought one-year extension of the British Department for International Development (DFID)-funded project 'Promoting Financial Services through Poverty Reduction' (PROSPER). IDB to provide $ 1.2b loan for oil imports

Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will provide Bangladesh with $1.2 billion in loans this year to help finance its oil imports, at cheaper rates than last year when it borrowed more.
