Bangladesh has received a request from Sri Lanka on jute cultivation in its northwestern province Puttalam where Colombo assured of giving long-term lease of lands. Govt plans to develop 2,000 IT entrepreneurs

The government plans to develop 2,000 freelancers as entrepreneurs within six months by providing them with necessary IT training under Freelancers to Entrepreneurs Programme launched early this month, officials said. They said the 2,000 freelancers have been selected from the 15,000 already developed freelancers under the Learning and Earning Programme of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, reports BSS.
