Commenting on the launch of the cheapest smartphone of the country, Robi’s Executive Vice President (EVP) Business Operations, Jean-Michel Arnaud Chanut said that, “It has been observed that cost is a major barrier for the masses to avail smartphones. On the other hand, lack of smartphone usage is a barrier for the proliferation of the use of internet. Robi thought of addressing this impediment by launching the cheapest smartphone handset in partnership with the number one smartphone company of the country, Symphony. We are confident that internet will now find its place in all segments of our society.”
Rezwanul Hoque, Senior Director, Symphony said that, “We always try to satisfy our customers by providing them with new experiences through durable and cost efficient handsets. We are proud to make this partnership with Robi in lowest price 3G smartphone segment with two (2) different models. We believe that our tech savvy customers will definitely be more satisfied with these exciting smartphones.”
