The final round of 7th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad was held at Curzon Hall, University of Dhaka recently. Bangladesh Chemical Society with sponsorship of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized the Olympiad.
Professor Dr. A.A.M.S Arefin Siddique, Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka was the chief 
guest in the prize giving ceremony. Presided over by Abul Bashar Mia, acting president of Bangladesh Chemical Society, Professor Dr. MA Aziz, Dean, Faculty of Science, Dhaka University and Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam, Vice Chairman of Islami Bank attended as special guest.
Some ten thousand students at 9 centers from six Divisions of the country participated in the Olympiad started on 13 January 2017.
