Dhaka Bank Limited has celebrated its 20 years of successful journey at a festive mood at Redisson Blu Water Garden Hotel on Sunday (July 5, 2015).
Dr. Atiur Rahman, Honorable Governor of Bangladesh Bank, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. On this occasion, “Personal Social Responsibility (PSR) Office” & “Reconciler Office” was formally declared and under the CSR Program.
Moreover, financial support were given to Khulna University & Rotary Community District Hospital, SEID Trust, Dhaka Ahsania Mission Hospital, Centre for Women & Child Care. Besides Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense was given a Rescue Boat along with financial aid to ten families of that institution who were died while performing their job.
In addition, a special deposit scheme named “Joma” was formally launched for the Garments workers. The Chairman of Dhaka Bank Mr. Reshadur Rahman, Sponsor Mr. ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan along with the Directors namely, Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Mr. Khondoker Monir Uddin, Mr. Md. Amirullah, Mr. Abdullah Al Ahsan, Mr. Khondoker Jamil Uddin, Mr. Mirza Yasser Abbas, Independent Director Mr. Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed, Former Vice Chairperson Mrs. Afroza Abbas, Former Director Mr. Khondoker Mohammad Shahjahan and Managing Director Mr. Niaz Habib were present on this occasion. Diplomats and High commissioners of different counties, higher officials of Government, reputed businesspersons graced this occasion with their live presence.
Bank’s Deputy Managing Directors namely Mr. Emranul Huq, Mr. Khan Shahadat Hossain, Mr. Sakir Amin Chowdhury and Company Secretary Mr. Arham Masudul Huq were also present.
