Quadcopter by JU students flies for first time

Three students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have invented a Quadcopter that can be  used for  an inspection system, to facilitate prompt rescue during marine vessel capsizes or fire incidents.

unnamed (1)Three students are Surot-E-mustofa, Md. Shawkat Ali Molla and Md. Rafiqul Islam and all three are Professional Masters in Information Technology (PMIT) program at Institute of Information and Techology (IIT) while Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, lecturer of IIT, was the caretaker of this project. Another two assistant professor M. Shamim Kaisar and Shamim Al Mamun are accompined to this project.

The caretaker of JU Quadcopter team said that we will build an inspection system for our campus in future time through Quadcopter. If Information and Communications Technology (ICT) division come forward to aiding in this project, then we will make homo drone with solvency and other researchers will be inspired to research sector.

Explaining the function of the new device, JU Quadcopter team leader told bdreports24.com that it can carry at least 2 kg without its waeght like camera, ropes and other rescue equipment for fire incidents and it can be operated from more distance.
