A felicitation program for the newly enrolled advocates was organized by Department of Law and Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific on 10th June, 2023 at UAP auditorium in the capital.
The program was started by the welcome speech of Md. Abdur Rahim, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Law and Human Rights at University of Asia Pacific (UAP). Mr. Justice M. Enayetur Rahim, Hon’ble Judge of the Appellate Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh was present as the chief guest at the event, according to a press release. 
Mr. Justice M. Enayetur Rahim encouraged the newly enrolled advocates to contribute in establishing social justice and rule of law. Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Acting Dean, School of Law, University of Asia Pacific delivered his speech as special guest. Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP presided over the program. Besides, Department of Law and Human Rights also felicitated the Jessup mooters who got chance to participate in the Philip c Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, 2023. After distribution of crests among the successful advocates and Jessup mooters , the program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Md. Asaduzzaman, Associate Professor Department of Law & Human Rights, University of Asia Pacific.
