GDIC inks MoU with BIAC

Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd (GDIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) at the capital. Under this agreement, a planned collaboration will be established for resolving insurance and contractual commercial disputes of GDIC through the specialized alternative disputes resolution services offered by BIAC.

mou_gdicl_biacFarzana Chowdhury ACII (UK), Chartered Insurer, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance and Mr. Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. Nasiruddin Ahmad Choudhury, Advisor of Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd. was also present during the MoU signing ceremony. Other senior officials from both the organizations were also present. This is the first MoU that BIAC signs with an insurance company.

Green Delta Insurance Company Limited is first AAA rated and leading non life insurance company of the country operating from its 39 branches all over the country. BIAC is the first international arbitration centre of Bangladesh, operating under a license from the Government and supported by three-business chambers-ICCB, MCCI, Dhaka and DCCI, that BIAC offers effective alternative dispute resolution services for all contractual and commercial disputes.
