Huawei inaugurates 1st-ever CSIC in Bangladesh

 Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today launched the first-ever ‘Customer Solution Innovation and Integration Experience Center’ (CSIC) in Bangladesh to showcase innovative technologies in real-time.

The inauguration ceremony took place at Huawei Bangladesh CSIC Centre in Dhaka.

Ms. Tarana Halim, Honorable State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She talked about ICT development in various developed countries with Huawei’s employees Huawei CSIC 2 (3)around the world through video conference. Mr. Liguangjun, Honorable Commercial Counsellor, Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh, was also present at the launching ceremony as the special guest.

 Huawei CSIC is a global network of dedicated and innovative state-of-the-art experience labs that allow interested parties to experience, architect, validate and build ICT solutions and applications. The showcase at CSIC aggregates over 120 global reference applications and services from Huawei’s clients and research and development (R&D) labs such as 4K Video, IoT, National Broadband and Mobile Broadband.

The vision is to make tailor-made solution and integrate innovation with customers and partners. Unlike traditional exhibition hall, CSIC is based on cloud integrating Huawei’s global resources, practices and other valuable data from third parties. Also, CSIC physical environment deploys the best infrastructure in the most comfortable environment so that customers can exchange ideas and build partnership with Huawei global experts using this eco-system.

The newly-opened Customer Solution Innovation and Integration Experience Center (CSIC) aims to be an instrumental tool for the development of Bangladesh’s digital economy.

It offers three values for the visitors: a window to the global practices, a center of idea exchange and business solution innovation, and a platform to develop an ICT eco-system.

In addition, people can also experience Huawei Enterprise Business solutions such as safe city and the latest Huawei Smartphone products in Bangladesh including the P9 and MATE 8.

“This centre will certainly help to develop innovative ICT solutions and achieve our Digital Bangladesh Vision- 2021,” said Ms. Tarana Halim, Honorable State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Division.

“Bangladesh should be proud for this experience lab as it is one of 20 Huawei CSIC centres that Huawei has now globally,” said Mr. Liguangjun, Honorable Commercial Counsellor, Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh.

Huawei considered the importance of the Bangladesh market and its current endeavor towards a digital economy. The CSIC will help meet the people’s demand for innovation and new technologies as Huawei receives full support from the Bangladesh Government and its campaign to promote “digital Bangladesh”.

At present Huawei has 20 CSIC running globally while 30 more CSIC constructions are ongoing.
