IBBL distributes relief among flood victims

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has taken initiative to distribute relief worth Tk.50 million this year among the flood affected people of northern part and different districts of the country. Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of the Bank inaugurated the relief distribution at the Haripur Char of Sundarganj Upazilla under Gaibandha district on August 02, 2016, Tuesday. On the day, Bank distributed relief goods and cash among more than 1500 flood-hit people in Haripur Char and Kamarzani of Gaibandha and Uddamari of Kurigram district.

Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam, Chairman, Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam, Director, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, IBBLExecutive Vice President and Head of Development Wing and Md. Shahidullah, Executive Vice President and Head of Rangpur Zone of the bank along with local leaders, members of local administration attended the program.

Engr. Mustafa Anwar said, Islami Bank is working for sustainable development and welfare of the country. The effort will be continued, he added. Besides banking business, Islami Bank is working to uplift the deprived, under privileged, cyclone and flood affected people as well.

Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam said, in response to Governmnet initiative Islami Bank is conducting relief distribution. The initiative will inspire others to stand for the flood affected people.

Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam said, Islami Bank is the bank of all people of the country. The bank will stay with the people at all crises like flood, cyclone and natural calamity, he added.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan said, from the very beginning, Islami Bank is working for peoples’ welfare. Islami Bank is the bank of need fulfillment of every families of the country, he added.
