Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited opened its 315th Branch at Shibaloy in Manikganj. Freedom Fighter Md. Abdul Mabud PPM, Chairman Risk Management Committee of the bank inaugurated the branch on December 19, 2016, Monday as chief guest.
Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO, the program was 
addressed by Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman, Audit Committee and Prof. Dr. Hasan Muhammad Moinuddin, Member, Shariah Supervisory Committee as special guests.
Md. Shamsuzzaman, Deputy Managing Director and Mohammad Ali, Executive Vice President addressed the program. Md. Kawsar-ul-Alam, Executive Vice President and Head of Dhaka North Zone presented keynote paper titled ‘Superiority and Success of Islamic Banking System’. Mobarak Hossain Khan, businessperson, Mawlana Md. Abdul Malek, Khateeb, Shibaloy Kendrio Jame Masjid addressed the function among clients and local elites. Executives and officials of the bank along with local businesspersons, professionals, and social elites attended the program.
