IPDC signs to initiate ‘Orjon’

IPDC Finance Limited has signed Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh (BFP-B) grant contract with Nathan Associates London Limited (an authorized agent of Department for International Development (DFID) for the development of Digital Supply Chain Finance Platform powered by Blockchain technology named IPDC-Orjon. This signing ceremony took place on 24 April, 2018 at The Westin Hotel located at Dhaka.

IPDC-Pictures_2Moving from the traditional and manual process, for the first time in Bangladesh, IPDC is in the process to develop an integrated digital platform titled ‘IPDC-Orjon’ for supply chain financing which will bind the Corporates, MSEs and Financial Organizations in one single chain. Orjon is a comprehensive supply chain financing solution which will enable MSEs to get easy finance through factoring, reverse factoring, work order and distributor financing. Being the first of its kind, Orjon aims to create a holistic supply chain financing eco-system in Bangladesh.

Ikbal Head of IT and Business Transformation, IPDC Finance Limited along with other high officials were present at the ceremony.
