Masih Muhith Haque & Co. a leading Chartered Accountants’ Firm of Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RSM Tajikistan, a leading professional services firm of Tajikistan, recently at the Head Office of RSM Tajikistan in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Both of the firms are part of the RSM International Network.
Under the new MoU the two firms will expand their cooperation and collaboration in professional and ancillary sectors. Mr. Masih Malik Chowdhury, FCA, Managing Partner of Masih Muhith Haque & Co. and Mr. Bahrullo Mulloev, Managing Partner of RSM Tajikistan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective firms. Mr. Firuz Saidov, Partner, RSM Tajikistan, was also present at the ceremony.
Masih Muhith Haque & Co. and RSM Tajikistan have been awarded a project by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the microfinance sector of Tajikistan entitled “Building Climate Resilience in the Pyanj River Basin in Tajikistan (G0352-TAJ-CONS-03)”. Three microfinance experts from Bangladesh, Mr. Tamim Islam, Mr. Babor Ali Talukder, and Mr. Shahjahan Ali have been deployed to perform the three year assignment on micro-credit and micro-insurance due to be completed in 2018.
This MoU will lead the two organizations to expand their cooperation and collaboration into various sectors including energy, telecom, governance, information technology, insurance, financial management, training, and capacity building, among others.
