American Dairy Limited (ADL) and Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a period of five (5) years on December 10, 2016 with the view of performing better research to establish a center for work of excellence in the field of AnGR, Genomic evaluation and genetic tools.
Professor Dr. M A Akbar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh was present as Chief Guest in the MOU signing ceremony. Chief Operating Officer 
(CEO), American Dairy Limited & Neurologist Dr. A. S. Alim and Head of Department, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Bangladesh Agricultural University Professor Dr. Md. Monir Hossain signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of their respective organizations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Syed Sakhawat Hossain, Professor Dr. A. K. Fazlul Hoque Bhuiyan, Professor Dr. Zakir Hossain, Professor Dr. Md. Al Mamun, Professor Dr. Md. Jashim Uddin Khan, Professor Dr. Md. Maniruzzaman, Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Professor Dr. Md. Azharul Hoque, Professor Dr. Avijit Roy, Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Lt. Col Md. Gholam Maula (Retd.) Director (Administration) of American Dairy Limited and others high officials of the both organizations.
After this ceremony, a professors’ team visited ADL research fields and all related laboratory. They visited the Farm, Artificial Insemination Training Center, World Class Laboratory etc. and felt satisfaction.
