Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated its’ 99th Branch at Jurain in the Capital city of Dhaka on 14th December 2016. The Director and Chairman of the Bank Foundation of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan formally inaugurated the Branch as Chief Guest.
Among others the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj and Mr. Abdul Aziz, 
Head of Common Services Division Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rasheed, Head of Public Relations Division Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, Company Secretary Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, Manager of Jurain Branch Mr. S M Rashedul Karim, Local Businessmen and Industrialist were present in the opening ceremony.
In his speech, Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan said the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. achieved client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based sincere services. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Jurain area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion.
Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj, discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment schemes. The Bank is committed to bring back all classes of people of the society under banking services.
The Deputy Managing Director Mr. Abdul Aziz expressed his gratitude with all at last.
The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
