Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury has joined as new Deputy Managing Director of Bank Asia. Prior to joining in Bank Asia he was Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) in the United Commercial Bank Ltd.
A veteran in the banking industry, Mr. Chowdhury has multi-functional experience in Human Resources 
Management and Credit Risk Management.
Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury completed his Bachelor (Hons) and Masters in English from the University of Dhaka and started banking career with Bangladesh Bank as an Assistant Director in 1993 where he served in different departments including Public Accounts Department, Audit Department, Problem Bank Monitoring Department, Secretary’s Department, Department of Banking Inspection (Foreign Bank Division) and Department of Currency Management & Payment Systems.
Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury received various capacity building training in home and abroad including USA, Germany, Malaysia and India for tuning professional excellence.
