Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) has been awarded as the highest tax-payer among the Bangladeshi banks under the large tax payers’ unit in 2016.
Md. Nojibur Rahman, Chairman of National Board of Revenue(NBR) recently handed over the 
crest and tax card to Habibur Rahman, Chairman of Pubali Bank Limited. Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury, Managing Director of Pubali Bank Limited was present at that time.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith MP was present as Chief Guest on the occasion. Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu MP and State Minister for Finance and Planning M A Mannan MP were present as Special Guests. Md. Abdur Razzaque, member of NBR was also present.
