Pubali Bank Limited has recently signed an agreement with Election Commission (EC), Bangladesh to verify data of the customers at the EC Secretariat.
Managing Director of Pubali Bank Limited Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury and Director (Operations) of EC Syed Mohammad Musa signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations while Brigadier General Sultanuzzaman Md. Saleh Uddin, DG of National Identity (NID) Registration Wing of Election Commission presided over the ceremony.
Additional Managing Director Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director & 
Chief Technical Officer of Pubali Bank Ltd. Mohammad Ali were present at the agreement signing ceremony. Under this agreement, Pubali Bank can verify the data of the customers through the database of Election Commission.
Md. Elias Bhuiyan, Director (Admin & Finance) IDEA Project, EC, and Md. Anwar Hossain, Director (Admin & Finance), NID Wing and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
