Samsung plans to soon launch its Tizen OS-based smartphone dubbed ‘Z1’ in Bangladesh, The Economic Times reports, citing Samsung India marketing VP Asim Warsi. Samsung first introduced its Z1 device in India on 14 January. “The [Z1] phone will soon be launched in Bangladesh,” Warsi said.
The Samsung Z1 features a 1,500 mAh battery and ‘Ultra Power Saving Mode’. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory, expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card.
The device also includes dual SIM support, a 4-inch WVGA PLS screen, 3.1 megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera with auto face detect. It also comes with anti-virus protection, a SOS alert and a ‘private mode’ to protect personal data.
