A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) and Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) at HAAB head office on 10th February 2016. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, all Ballottee & Non- Ballottee Hajj & Umrah Pilgrims can deposit their Hajj & Umrah Registration Fee through 93 Branches of SJIBL from all over the country.
The Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. M. Akhter Hossain and the 
President of HAAB Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Bahar signed on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others Vice-President of HAAB Mr. Farid Ahmed Majumdar, Joint-Secretary General Mr. Muzammel Hossain Kamal, EC Members Mr. Aftab Uddin Chowdhury and Mohammad Aminul Haque, Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman Manager of Bijoynagor Branch and Mr. Md. Farid Uddin Muraquib of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. were also present with the high officials of the both organizations in MoU signing ceremony.
