For AddManaging Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Nurul Amin presided over the inaugurating ceremony. Chairman of the Bank Mr. H.N. Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman said the need of the hour is to develop socially inclusive, sustainable and environmental-friendly trade practices even as SAARC countries aim for financial integration in the region. Adventist seminar addresses domestic violence

Adventists recently responded to the challenge of domestic violence which is a national concern in Bangladesh. Leaders from the Bangladesh Adventist Union Mission (BAUM) as well as the Dhaka Seventh-day Adventist church offered a one-day seminar about domestic violence on August 15. Russian copters with Russian credit

Russia would supply six Mil Mi-171Sh military and transport helicopters and one Mi-171E rotocraft to Bangladesh. The supply is a part of an agreement signed in April 2015, Russia’s Tass news agency reported. Rosoboronexport also said that it would provide the Asian country a loan of $1 billion so that it could buy the helicopters.
