2-day long JU Job Fair begins

A two-day long job fair titled ‘7th bdjobs.com Campus Career Festival’ has begun at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Tuesday.

Bdjobs.com, countries largest online portal, has organised the fair where around 27 renowned companies will participate.

5fb63338-f1af-4fd4-bc15-f92cedb80d1aAround 3.30 pm, Mohammad Ali Ferose, coordinator of the event, disclosed the matter at a press conference which was held at the JU journalist’s Association (JUJA) office on last Tuesday.

JU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farzana Islam,  inaugurated the fair at Zahir Raihan Auditorium premises while Prof. Rasheda Akhter, director of Students Welfare and Counselling Centre, Prokash Roy Chowdhury, General Manager of bdjobs.com attended the programme.

Mentionable, at the first day of the event, 27 participant institutions collected application form the students for recruiting job against 83 vacant posts. Fresh graduates who have already completed their graduation or who will complete their graduation from JU within 2 or 3 month are eligible for the post.
