A massive event titled ‘Eid for Street Children’ has been organised by United Nations Youth and Student Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), Chattogram division held at Southern University in Chattogram on Sunday
The event aims to bring smiles to the face of children in need on the occasion of Eid. The donation has been collected from April 9th which is concluded on April 15th, with both online and in-person fundraising initiatives. This year the celebration committee shopped for groceries for disabled families with children, residing near, Arefin Nagar, dirt depot under the Bayezid Bostami police station.

Russia has thanked Bangladesh for abstaining from voting on the latest adopted UN General Assembly (UNGA) resolution that called for "ending the war in Ukraine and demanded Russia's immediate withdrawal from that country".
"Thank you, Bangladesh, for abstaining," the Russian embassy in Dhaka tweeted on Friday.

The new executive committee of the United Nations Youth and Student Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) has been selected with MD Jahidul Islam as a new president; Mohammad Eannobi, Shadman Taher Arnob and Akib Khan as vice president and Mehjabeen Akhter as a new Organising Secretary.
