UNYSAB concludes Eid for street children event

A massive event titled ‘Eid for Street Children’ has been organised by United Nations Youth and Student Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), Chattogram division  held at Southern University in Chattogram on Sunday

The event aims to bring smiles to the face of children in need on the occasion of Eid. The donation has been collected from April 9th which is concluded on April 15th, with both online and in-person fundraising initiatives. This year the celebration committee shopped for groceries for disabled families with children, residing near, Arefin Nagar, dirt depot under the Bayezid Bostami police station. The distributions were organized at Southern University (west campus) field. Nearly 20 packs of cooked food including chocolates were distributed to the kids. The committee consisted of only 15 volunteers who gave their effort to make them happy and had a joyous time with these kids.

KINETEK was the shared sponsor and Ahmed Food Group was the food sponsor for conducting the event very successfully. The radio partner for the event was Dhaka FM.

UNYSAB aims to continue this event among unprivileged children in various locations of Bangladesh. Earlier, UNYSAB have distributed clothes and Eid cards among their divisional wings including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Chittagong, and Barisal.
