Brigadier General Ziaul Ahsan, former additional director general (ADG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), today joined National Security Intelligence (NSI) as its director.
Ahsan joined Bangladesh Army as a commissioned officer in 1991 and was appointed as the director of intelligence wing of RAB in 2010. He was adorned with Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) in 2010 and President Police Medal (PPM) in 2011, BSS reports.
Meanwhile, Colonel Anwar Latif Khan has been promoted as the new ADG of RAB. The former commander of RAB-11 joined Bangladesh Army through 26th BMA Long Course in 1992.
He acted as the commander of 25th East Bengal Regiment during his career in army.
