The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement came up with a set of points for people to make the non-cooperation movement successful on Satyrday. They earlier announced a single-point demand -- resignation of the prime minister -- at a mammoth rally at the Central Shaheed Minar.
Asif Mahmud, an organiser of the movement, announced the points:
1. No one should pay any tax.
2. Refrain from paying any kind of utility bills.

Eight people have been missing since a fishing trawler capsized in the Meghna River in Char Fasson upazila of Bhola.
Five fishermen were rescued alive in this connection.
The incident took place in the Meghna river in Shibchar area of Dhalchar union in the upazila on Friday (August 2) night.
Maruf Hossain Minar, senior fisheries officer of Char Fasson upazila, confirmed this information.
He said that a week ago, 13 fishermen went for fishing amid inclement weather. While returning from fishing on Friday night, the trawler carrying 13 fishermen overturned due to strong current in the river. 13 fishermen in the trawler fell into the river. Later in the night, being informed, another fishing trawler rescued five fishermen alive. The remaining 8 fishermen are still missing.

At least 40 people were injured in a clash between protesters and members of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in Tangail, Comilla, Faridpur.
In Tangail, The incident took place as protesters were holding a demonstration to press their nine-point demand.
To regain control of the situation, police resorted to firing tear gas.
