Dynamic youths as agents for building sustainable future: French Envoy

A four-day long program celebrating “Bangladesh International Model United Nations (BiMUN) 2023” organised by United Nations Youth & Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) ended on Saturday at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in Dhaka.

French Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Mrs. Marie Masdupuy was present as a chief guest and Registrar of AIUB, Group Captain (Ret.) Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan was present as a special guest at the closing ceremony of BiMUN-2023.

BiMUN-2023 conducted ten committee sessions successfully throughout the event, which ended with the closing plenary. All the delegates of BiMUN-2023 came up with different resolutions to combat global issues.

French Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Mrs. Marie Masdupuy said that education is the basis of all things and youth should come forward so that nation can be benefited by their remarkable contributions.

‘I always get positive energy from the young people of Bangladesh, and I know youths are capable to do anything positively because Bangladeshi people are dynamic” She added. H.E. Mrs. Marie Masdupuy said that Bangladeshi dynamic youths have enthusiasm, and they are the main agents who can build a sustainable future.

Chairman of Board of Trustees of UNYSA Bangladesh Professor Dr. Sayed Saikh Imtiaz was present at the event. Dr. Imtiaz told to the bdreports24.com that we can contribute our efforts for the betterment of our world through this kind of participation. 

He also shared his experiences and journey as a participant and organizer of a Model United Nations with the delegates.

Registrar of American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) Group Captain (Ret.) Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan delivered his remarks as a Special Guest of the event. He talked before the audience on climate justice and operative causes mentioned the progress of Ireland, Russia, and India on this issue.

In conclusion, active delegates and the organisers of BiMUN-2023 received the prize for their outstanding contribution and kind cooperation. BiMUN-2023 pushed to consider the progress that made over the past four days of concentrated discussion and teamwork. However, ideas grew, friendships formed, and problems were solved during BiMUN 2023. Before announced goodbye to BiMUN 2023, they hope to make a positive impact on the globe, and they have proved that working together can solve the world’s problems.
