JU UNYSAB hosts ‘Eid for Street Children-2015’

The organisation distributes Eid clotings among underprivileged children

The members of United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB), a model organisation of United Nations, Jahangirnagar University unit for the first time distributed Eid clothing among the hundreds of underprivileged children on Monday, a press release said.

11659368_837459029663431_2945808107007405717_nUNYSAB organised a ceremony and Iftar party at the Social Science Gallary of JU on the campus Sunday.

The president of UNYSAB, Mohammad Mamun Mia said that we have always been a steadfast advocate of social awareness, and as such it maintains a permanent contribution in this field. ‘Eid for Street Children’ is a major social programme observed annually by UNYSAB.

With its recent launch of ‘Eid for Street Children-2015′, UNYSAB once more beckons to the active youth of Bangladesh in showing them what tremendous role they can play in today’s society.

Prof  Shahedur Rahman, Chairman of Biotechnology and Engineering Department, was present as the chief guest while UNYSAB JU unit president SM Riyajul Karim chaired in the programme.
