The SEU MBA Club (Southeast University MBA Club) officially handed over its documents, including the constitution, to the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, during an Iftar and Dua Mahfil event held recently. This marks a significant milestone for the club, which began its journey unofficially one year ago.
Notably, this is the first time in Southeast University’s history that a club will be managed by postgraduate students, setting a new precedent for student leadership.
The event was honoured by the presence of several esteemed guests, including the respected Dean, Prof. Dr. Sirajul Islam, the MBA Director, Professor Dr Tanvir Fittin Abir, the BBA Director, Dr. Farhana Ferdous, as well as MBA coordinatorsAssistant Professor Mr MehediMasudand Lecturer Iftekhar Shahab Uddin. Numerous other faculty members associated with the MBA program also attended, contributing to the event’s success.
A unique and heartwarming aspect of the program was the club’s initiative to involve ten orphaned children in the event. These children had the opportunity to complete the recitation of the Qur’an and share Iftar with the attendees while being honoured and respected throughout the evening.
The evening was further enriched by a Qur’anic recitation and an Islamic music competition, adding cultural and spiritual significance to the gathering.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the SEUMBA Club. We hope their journey continues to flourish, expanding from the campus to the country and beyond, touching lives across the globe.
