The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 1 September 2020 at AIT campus, Thailand. Professor Dr. Shamsad Mortuza, Pro Vice-Chancellor, ULAB, and Dr. Eden Woon, President, AIT, Thailand signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Professor Jayashree Roy, Bangabandhu Chair at AIT, facilitated the bridging of the two institutions.
This agreement between ULAB and Asian Institute of Technology will involve the development of a pathway for ULAB undergrads to do an international internship followed by a Masters at AIT; academic exchange of researchers, lecturers and students and joint student guidance for Masters and Doctoral research on relevant courses; development of academic transfer agreements for students, faculty members and administrators; and joint organization of training programs, seminars, workshops, colloquia, and symposia in relevant courses following the emerging and need-based national and international crisis areas.
