The Impress Telefilm’s movie Jalaler Golpo was shown at Rajshahi University auditorium. The movie directed by Abu Shahed Imon screened at university’s Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The movie was shown three times each day.
The movie followed the story of a boy Jalal who was an illegitimate child and faces many 
inconsistencies of family and society.
The movie was run three steps childhood, boyhood and youth of Jalal’s life. From his childhood he struggled against family and society. His family didn’t accept him being an illegitimate child. Later on, he took shelter in a Jomider’s house till boyhood. But the Jamider also replaced him elsewhere. Finally he took shelter a brick business man’s house who was unmarried. But he started to live together with a young girl and after few months she gave birth an illegitimate child.
His father(illegitimate child) didn’t accept him and swamped him in river, Jalal realized the situation and tried his best to save him.
The movie was nominated on 88th Oscare from Bangladesh and achieved Asian cinema fund in ‘Busan’ film festival onOctober 2014. The movie was also awarded as best movie on 19th Avaska international film festival in Partugal 2015. Mossaraf Karim was awarded as best actor and derector Abu Shahed Imon elected as best new director on 7th film festival in Joypur, India in this movie.
